Over the past few months, we’ve spent time creating more space in the body, improving flexibility, and building strength to support those new ranges of movement. We’ve worked steadily, one step at a time, and hopefully you’ve started to notice small changes along the way.

Whatever you’ve noticed, whether it’s feeling a little stronger, moving a little easier, or simply enjoying your practice more, July is about making the most of those changes.

This month’s theme is Light & Mobile.

Rather than working towards a particular pose or focusing on one area of the body, we’ll be exploring movement that feels free, smooth, and enjoyable.

Sometimes yoga can become another thing we feel we need to achieve. We chase deeper stretches, stronger poses, or longer practices. This month is a chance to let go of that a little. Movement doesn’t always have to feel like hard work. Sometimes it can simply feel good.

That’s really what this month is about.

The sessions will include full body mobility, flowing sequences, gentle stretches, and lighter vinyasa practices that help everything feel connected. We’ll move in different directions, explore flowing transitions, spend time opening the hips and shoulders, mobilising the spine, and creating freedom throughout the whole body.

July is also a month when routines often change. There might be holidays, weekends away, family visits, or simply more time spent outdoors enjoying the longer days. Because of that, many of the sessions this month are easy to fit into a busy schedule. Some are shorter, some are gentler, and all are designed to leave you feeling refreshed rather than exhausted.

The goal isn’t to make you tired. It’s to help you finish each practice feeling lighter than when you started.

If you only have 20 minutes, that’s enough. If you only manage one or two practices each week, that’s enough too. Keeping some movement in your week is often far more valuable than waiting for the perfect moment to do a longer practice.

One thing I hope you’ll notice this month is how different movement feels when you’re not trying to force anything. Instead of asking, “How far can I go?” try asking, “How does this feel today?” You might discover that moving with curiosity is much more enjoyable than chasing progress. And often, that’s when progress happens anyway.

As always, the July calendar is there to guide you through the month, but it isn’t a checklist. Miss a day? Carry on. Prefer repeating your favourite class? Go for it. The calendar is there to support your practice, not to add another thing to your to-do list.

If you’re already a member, I hope these sessions leave you feeling lighter, freer, and more energised throughout the month.

If you’re new to the membership, July is a wonderful time to join. The practices are approachable, full body, and easy to fit around summer plans. Alongside the monthly calendar, you’ll also have access to over 100 on-demand classes, the Mini Mobility Series, the 8-week Back Care Course, and the 4-week Beginner Programme. You can start with a 5-day free trial and see how the membership feels for you. Explore here.

This month, let’s move for the simple joy of moving. Because when movement feels good, we’re much more likely to keep coming back to it.

And that’s where the real benefits begin.

Best wishes,

Ayse
