Welcome to June, everyone! As the days get longer and the weather gets warmer(ish) (!), it’s the perfect time to focus on our yoga practice with a new theme: “Align & Energise: A Summer Yoga Journey.” This month, we’re bringing together two important aspects of yoga—full body alignment and energising sequences—to help you feel your best.

Full body alignment in yoga means making sure every part of your body is in the right position during your practice. Good alignment helps you move safely and effectively. It also makes each pose more comfortable and helps you get the most out of your practice.

When your body is well-aligned, you can prevent injuries and work on your flexibility and strength. It’s like building a strong foundation for your practice. This month, we’ll focus on alignment in different poses and how it helps you stay balanced and steady.

Yoga isn’t just about stretching and relaxing; it can also be a great way to boost your energy. Energising yoga sequences are perfect for waking up your body and mind, especially during the busy summer months. These sequences can help you feel more alert and ready to take on the day.

Incorporating energising yoga into your routine can also improve your mood and reduce stress. It’s a fantastic way to keep yourself motivated and positive.

This month, we’ll explore how proper alignment and energising poses can work together. Here’s a sneak peek at what you can expect from our “Align & Energise” theme:

– Arm balances such as crow pose
– Shoulder mobility
– Sun Salutations
– Backbend sequences

To help you stay on track, I’ve created a daily practice calendar. Each day, you’ll have a recommended video that aligns with our theme. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced yogi, there’s something for everyone.
